I am going to start by posting some images of some of the work that I do before showing some of the new work I am designing now...The images above are just a few examples of the hand-painted ceramic tiles that I create. Each tile is *one-of-a-kind* and they take a while to draw out and paint. I use underglazes (basically colored clay in liquid form) and once the design is complete, I cover the tile with a glossy clear glaze, and fire it in an electric kiln to set the glaze. Each tile is then permanently adhered to a solid wood frame that has small rubber pads on all four corners as well as a hole on the back to hang. These tiles can be used as trivets, but I just like to hang them on the wall!
